The Sarnia Section of ISA currently has approximately 110 active members. The ISA Sarnia Section was founded on September 1, 1947 and became a Not-for-Profit Corporation on November 27, 1986. The purpose was to bring the practitioners of the field together to share their experience and unite various companies to create an environment where everyone can learn about this ever changing field.
To this day the Sarnia Section continues to provide its members and other industry practitioners in the field of Instrumentation, Controls and Automation with:
- Dinner Meetings featuring technical presentations on current technologies - Bi-Monthly
- Instrumentation Reference Guide - Yearly
- Section Newsletter - Bi-Monthly
- Local training courses and seminars
- Conferences and exhibits
- An opportunity to network with peers
